NOTES 1 (from research in Hobart by Lynn Haines)More About Philip 1820 Corboy Bridget at the age of 16 arrived in Launceston, Tasmania, on the “Brankenmoor” with her parents in 1843 as a bounty immigrant (she was listed as a 'nurse maid). Her father John was listed as a ‘farm servant’, her mother Catherine as a ‘dairy woman’, brother Matthew as a ‘farm labourer’. Siblings listed were Tim 10yrs, Mary 5yrs and an infant 5 weeks, born on board 26 Feb 1843. Margaret 3 yrs died on board on 3rd Feb 1843.
*2 Assuming her age is shown correctly on ship records, Bridget was born in 1927 if her birth day is between Jan 1 and Apr 4, and 26 if after April 4. (Terry Nunan)
