3 If age on arrival in Launceston is correct, Matthew was born in 1828 if birth day is before Apr 6, or 1827 if birth day after April 6 (Terry Nunan) 4 From John’s will dated 1872 “…..Of two hundred and eighty pounds (280) sterling which is due to me by my son Matthew Nunan of Bylands in said county I bequeath in the following manner and to the persons hereinafter named _________ “ Amounts from 50 pounds to 80 pounds stirling bequeathed to Bridget (Mrs Corboy), Mary (Mrs Coffey), Margaret (Mrs Ward), Catherine, Ann ”to be paid to her by my son Matthew Noonan aforesaid on the eighteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy ….” (from 1873 – 1877, one daughter each year)
